Тhe paper describes the characteristics of wastewater from poultry farms and the distinctive features of technological processes occurring during The slaughter of birds the composition of wastewater of slaughterhouse of poultry farm
in Akmola region for processing of poultry meat. Was stadied It is shown that according to the results of the study the most
polluted by physical and chemical parameters is the waste water of the gutter shop, which is a natural phenomenon. The
uniformity of the sources of pollution associated with the performance of technological operations of a particular production
or business unit of poultry enterprises causes a more or less constant average amount of contamination per head of the bird
entering the sewage during the day. Differences, depending on the age of the bird, such as equipment, do not significantly affect
the biochemical composition of wastewater. In this regard, a general physicochemical and bacteriological characterization of
the sewage of the slaughterhouse of poultry farms is given. Individual indicators of treated wastewater significantly exceed the
maximum permissible discharge of contaminants into the water body
