The authors have studied the effect of alkyl and alkylaryl substituents on the chemical shifts in the nuclear
magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra of N-arylalkyl-N’-acylurea (10 compounds). Additionally, a systematic analysis of 1 H and
13 C NMR spectra has been carried out allowing the authors to describe the reasons for the change in the structural parameters
of C (1) -C (4) carbons, CH-carbon, and the amide carbonyl atom in the arylalkyl and acyl moieties.
