The article discusses the prospects for the purification of industrial wastewater from phenols in the oil refining, petrochemical and chemical industries with production waste. The technological scheme of wastewater treatment from phenols by modified carbonate sludge is given. In wastewater treatment technologies, it is proposed to use a large-tonnage energy waste - carbonate sludge. The paper considers the technology of carbonate sludge granulation, its technological characteristics are studied. To evaluate the characteristics of adsorption, an adsorption isotherm and a kinetic curve were plotted. The technological scheme of wastewater treatment is presented on the example of Aktobe Oil Refining LLP.
