Scientific - educational process and the research direction of the department of physical and economic geography

Abstract

The work describes the history of education and the consistent formation of the
department of physical and economic geography of Eurasian National University named after
L.N.Gumilyov. The article presents the scientific school and the scientific direction of the department, the main scientific works of the teaching staff of the department. The work reflects the
scientists who took an active part in the concept of development of the educational program of
future specialists - geographers.
